Stapleton Revitalization Plan

The Staten Island Foundation has been the primary funder of planning for long-term community and economic development to revitalize one of the most beautiful and diverse older neighborhoods on Staten Island.

We invite you to review the Stapleton revitalization recommendations which evolved from findings captured through a variety of sources including interviews, community meetings with local social service providers, business people, elected officials, government agency representatives, area residents, local real estate experts, and advocacy and community based organizations.

As you will see, Stapleton’s concerns include: economic development and opportunity, healthcare, housing, immigrant services, infrastructure, social service needs, literacy, and youth development.
